Today Sexual Minorities Uganda celebrates all Muslim human rights defenders that help us with our work of advocating for the rights of LGBTI persons in Uganda. Thank you for the good work you have done while making sacrifices during the holy month.

In a special way we appreciate and wish our Muslim staff and friends who were attacked on social media and in their private spaces for supporting human rights and particularly the Rights of LGBTI in Uganda.

May you continue to carry the true spirit of Islam which is about love and respect of humanity.
